How to choose numbers for South African Lotto

The most common ways people choose the lotto numbers is by combining their birthdays, anniversaries or any other special dates. As much as this is the sentimental thing to do, if you are hoping to win the South African lotto, DO NOT do it. Why? The reason is that in the lotto there are 49 balls to choose from and if you stick to dates only you will stop at number 31 there by missing out on 18 more numbers to choose from.

Beside even if the jackpot came out from those 31 numbers, you will be sharing the the jackpot with many other people because that is how most people choose their numbers. Instead of winning your millions, it will be divided amongst the winners thereby receiving much less than what you would if you have chosen unusual numbers.

So you asking yourself, how do you choose your numbers? As Gail Howard of Smartluck website say, follow this simple law:

That which is MOST POSSIBLE happens MOST OFTEN.
That which is LEAST POSSIBLE happens LEAST OFTEN.

What does this mean? The numbers that appear most of the time will continue to appear more and the numbers that appear less frequently in the draw will continue to not showing up often. With that being you need to look at the statistics and choose the numbers that often appear in the South African draws and you increase our chances of winning.

If there is one important advice I can give you today is that look at the statistics page and choose the numbers that often show up.

Do feel free to talk to me and share your stories with us.
